PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
Multiple guards and hatches are removed during maintenance activities at the head-end of a conveyor. Work must take place safely and without movement restrictions. Therefore JAD Safe Reach proposed a traveling bridge with track for self-retracting lifelines, thus reducing the risk of personnel working in close proximity near openings. The new structure had to be installed without affecting multiple operating equipment and maintenance activities, this is where JAD Safe Reach's 3D scanning, 3D modelling with clash detection is without a doubt a necessity.
